Festival weekend
Waterfowl Festival weekend, done right.
Spend the days in Easton and the mornings watching real waterfowl from the dock.
November 13 to 15, 2026 · Easton, MD
The Waterfowl Festival runs November 13 to 15, 2026 in Easton. Decoy carving, wildlife art, retriever demos, calling contests, and most of the Eastern Shore in one town for a weekend.
Here's the trick: stay where the birds actually are. This house sits on Hudson Creek in Dorchester marsh country, about 35 minutes south of the festival and 15 from Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. Drive up for the festival, come home to geese working the creek at dusk.
It sleeps 15, so bring the extended family or the whole carving club. Dogs are welcome, obviously.
